Money as the transfer of energy

Money is simply the transfer of energy, and there is a reason why some of us struggle with it whereas some do not. Thankfully, there is a way that we can change things if money is a source of struggle.

Have you ever wondered why some people – and sometimes people who are less educated than you – can easily earn millions whilst other people struggle along on the poverty line, finding it difficult to pay essential bills or feed their families? Do you put it down to ‘luck’ or ‘being in the right place at the right time? Or is it something else that’s at play?

What exactly is it that makes some of us rich and some of us poor? And is there anything we can do to change it?

Well in short, it is all based upon how we perceive and use money on an energetic level, and more crucially, how we choose to use that energy.

To say that money is not important or that it cannot buy happiness is fundamentally flawed, because money is essentially the transfer of energy. In addition, by repeatedly saying that money isn’t important will mean that you block it – from an energetic perspective – from coming to you in true abundance.

The world in which we live is based upon a financial system – and this financial system dictates that by having enough money, we have the means and freedom to live as we choose. So whilst not necessarily buying happiness, money can provide us with security, peace of mind, and enable us to have experiences that we would not otherwise have had.

The truth is that there is an endless supply of money that we can attract into our lives if we can learn to act and think in a way that is in alignment with what we want to attract into our lives. When we are aligned correctly, what we desire will flow to us effortlessly.

The trouble is that many of us aren’t aligned correctly! In his book, ‘Biology of Belief: Unleashing the power of consciousness’ Bruce Lipton argues:

“The function of the mind is to create coherence between our beliefs and the reality that we experience.” Lipton continues, “We generally perceive that we are running our lives with our wishes and our desires. But neuroscience reveals a startling fact. We only run our lives with our creative, conscious mind about 5 percent of the time. Ninety-five percent of the time, our life is controlled by the beliefs and habits that are programmed in the subconscious mind.”

And so if you find yourself poor despite your best efforts, or even working in a job you don’t like, it is likely that your subconscious mind is running the show and sabotaging your conscious efforts to bring about real financial change. It’s time to start questioning yourself and shining a light into your unconscious to explore those underlying beliefs. You may want to start by asking yourself a series of questions:

  • What are my underlying beliefs about money that I learned growing up?
  • What is my relationship with money? Do I consider it ‘good’ or ‘bad’?
  • What language do I use to describe money, for example do I regularly affirm to myself that money is difficult to earn by saying, ‘money doesn’t grow on trees?’
  • Deep down, do I feel I deserve to be poor?
  • Do I understand the difference between my needs and wants and am I prioritising them correctly?

Some of these questions are quite challenging and you may want to come back to them again and again, to dig deeper and really explore those hidden, unconscious beliefs. As we realise our consciousness about money, we come to learn that it is neither positive nor negative, but simply an expression of energy. How we choose to spend money is an expression of what we value.

Positive affirmations

Once you have identified your thought processes, you can start to counteract them with positive affirmations that are specifically focused upon changing your mindset and aligning yourself to the neutral energy that money really is.

Choose the ones that resonate with you and repeat 100 times each day:

  • Money flows to me effortlessly
  • I love money and money worships me
  • I am a millionaire
  • I always have more than enough money
  • I am open to the best things in life
  • I have a million pounds in my bank account
  • Abundance is mine
  • I am an abundant person
  • My wallet is overflowing with money
  • My positive visions around money have come true

Wow! Simon! I can’t believe you mentioned Bruce Lipton! I’m a big fan of his. What your wrote mirrors and resonates with my inner thoughts. I’ve always perceive life is an experience, everything in the whole universe is energy which is conscious, including us. We are Consciousness having a human experience in this reality. We create our own reality through our thoughts, beliefs and emotions (mind awareness).
